Here's what critics are saying...

This cheerful, upbeat, and playful Story Monsters Theme perfectly encapsulates the Story Monsters LLC publishing brand that has swept our literary contests!
There's something undeniably wholesome, friendly, and happy about this song. We loved and appreciated that.

There's another thing that this song does well: taking an inquisitive, questioning stance that gets the audience (and the kids in the song) thinking. It gets their gears turning and their wheels spinning, something that you want when trying to engage a young audience. The song also builds and explores the mystery and story of the Story Monsters brand itself by explaining what a Story Monster is, what they do, and who they are.

The song serves as terrific promotional material for the brand, demonstrating for the listener that kids love (or will love) the Story Monsters and Story Monsters books. The message is clear: OUR BOOKS ARE FOR YOU!
Update: “a few days after listening to this, it's still stuck in our heads so we added an extra point. It's really catchy!”

great kids song review - NBCUniversal/Artist Reach, LLC

"I really like your approach to the kids genre. It’s a catchy tune that is simple enough to follow along if you’re a kid, and the vocal melody is beyond catchy enough for repeat listens. I can definitely see kids singing along to this. It has that staying power too, the ability to stay with you even long after it’s over. I am definitely eager to hear more.”

The new song that you created for Story Monsters . . . Absolutely delightful. *****(Five Star Review!!!)

FYI (I think I have a pretty good idea of what kids like and what inspires them since I spent over 15 years with The Assistance League of Los Angeles Theater for Children as a member  of The Nine OClock Players Theatre for Children Program | The Assistance League of Los Angeles

I think your song is a joyful inspiration for young children to read and explore the exciting and wonderous world of BOOKS . . .  and hopefully, get their heads and eyes focused on the written page instead of their phones and tablets(unless it is for an E-Book or Audiobook). Kudos to you for your great idea . . . which should give children's book authors another avenue to create "Edutainment" for young readers. (Why I write fables . . . "to educate and entertain at the same time").

The music was really good and the artist had a good creativity level of making this style of music and the lyrics was the strongest part of this track and track name was a right choice for this track and we really loved your track with great vocals and lyrics....

A bullseye track for the children’s market. I like the hook and the lead vocals great!

— Brooklyn Music Experience

This cheeky, playful, and carefree kids-adorned theme song is an endearing, well-crafted, and gratifying slice of PG-content—speeding at the careful speed of twenty (s)miles an hour. The bare and one-dimensional piano-led melodic motif provides a minimally apt soundbed to contrast the sweet and tender nursery rhymes sung atop of it by a slew of children and a leading female voice. A charming and dedicated moment of pure musical innocence this present needs more of.
