Catching Up with the AZWOWW Team
Reach us at AZWOWW@FiveStarPublications.com
A flurry of activities has kept the AZWOWW team on the fast track to wacky busy! So I thought I better drop a note to our fans and let you know what we've been up to.
COSTCO & SAM'S CLUB:
In addition to a myriad of other book signings and presentations, Conrad and Lynda will be visiting COSTCO and Sam's Club stores this spring. We are very excited about this wonderful opportunity, which offers readers a special, member's-only discount on "Arizona Way Out West & Wacky." So for the many of you who have been asking me where you can purchase a signed copy of our book, visit our Tour Page. We've already uploaded most of the COSTCO signing dates, and once the Sam's Club dates are approved, we will upload them, too!
SNEAK PEEK AT AUTHER PRESENTATION:
Porter elementary school was so excited to have Jayne and me at their school that they filmed a small portion of the presentation. So, if you would like to have a tiny peek at what we offer the kindergarten through third-grade students, visit http://www.edtv99.org/video/11149/ or you can click on Tours, scroll down to Porter Elementary School and click on the website link."
COLORING BOOK LAUNCH:
Our new coloring book, "Arizona Color Me Wacky! is now at the printers! Fans of our other two books have been begging us for a book for their littlest ones, and soon they will have it. Between "Color Me Wacky!," "Arizona Way Out West & Wacky" and "Arizona Way Out West & Witty: Library Edition," which is the ONEBOOKAZ for Kids, we have all age groups covered with wacky and wonderful information and activities that pertain to Arizona! Check out our press release at http://www.fivestarpublications.net/westandwacky/futurerelease3#news or by clicking on the MEDIA tab, then Past Releases.
STUDENTS' WACKY AZ STORIES:
Did you notice the icon of the Story Wizard on our blog page? We are encouraging kids to write to us at AZWOWW@FiveStarPublications.Com and tell us their wackiest true Arizona stories. These could be actual Arizona history stories they learned about and wrote themselves, wacky-but-true stories of present-day Arizona or wacky events that happened in their own lives. If they meet our wacky-but-true AZWOWW standards, we will post them on our blog for others to enjoy. Click on the Wizard icons to read some of the stories kids have already contributed.
Well, there certainly is a lot more going on, but I've just run out of time. I have to run off to Tempe Center for the Arts for a book signing with Conrad See you at a book signing soon!
Lynda Exley,
