Every year, a list of books representing the literary heritage of the 50 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands is distributed by the Library of Congress' Center for the Book during the National Book Festival. We just learned that Arizona Way Out West & Witty by Conrad J. Storad and Lynda Exley made that list as the designated book for Arizona.


The 13th annual Library of Congress National Book Festival is held September 21-22, 2013, on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama are honorary chairs for the event. The festival is free and open to the public.
